In light of COVID-19 mandated lockdown, changes in operating timings of the EFC

Upon order of DDC (EFC), the centre will return to functioning on a 24-hour basis from the 21st December 2020. The following measures are to remain in place and will be strictly enforced:

Entry to the EFC is subject to the registration of personal details. This is required for contact tracing and mandated by MoH and PHI. Correct driver name and mobile numbers must be submitted for the issuance of gate passes. This is required for contact tracing and mandated by MoH and PHI.

Before entering the EFC, ensure your hands are sanitized by washing using the liquid soap provided or with hand sanitiser. Face masks must be worn properly at all times.

Social distancing must be practised at all times. Maintain a distance of 6 feet from other people.

Avoid spending unnecessary time at the EFC. Loitering at the EFC will not be tolerated.

The above precautions and procedures are for your safety as well as the safety of all EFC stakeholders. We expect your full cooperation in preventing the spread of COVID-19 and keeping the EFC safe to ensure uninterrupted services to the exporters of Sri Lanka.

The EFC reserves the right to refuse entry to any individual who fails to abide by the above instructions and directives set by the Ministry of Health, Public Health Inspectors, and the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak. These measures will remain in place until further notice and the EFC reserves the right to amend them as deemed necessary.
